A Virtual Healthcare Account Manager is responsible for overseeing teams of employees and building and maintaining relationships with clients to help them achieve their goals, while promoting the services of the company.
Summary of essential job functions
- Builds and maintains relationship with clients to be able to understand their needs and develop solutions to meet them within the scope of the company’s services.
- Resolve conflicts and advise clients on how to improve their experience with the services the company provides.
- Performs performance review for team members.
- Monitors KPI and attendance.
- Investigates incident reports and provides disciplinary actions, as needed.
- Manages time off requests for team members.
- Maintains healthy, professional relationships with team members, to provide daily support.
- Facilitates candidate interviews with clients.
- Look for new business from existing and new customers.
- Create and distribute reports to update the company on the team’s progress.
- Participates in management meetings, as required.
- Participates in candidate interviews.
- Helps coordinate special projects, as assigned.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications and the like.
Minimum requirements
- Previous virtual Team Lead experience
- Previous experience as a virtual assistant in the healthcare industry, preferably in a private practice
- College degree required in a healthcare related field
- Proven leadership skills
Abilities required
- The ability to develop, implement and assess performance metrics
- Advanced knowledge in common office applications and word processing software
- Basic knowledge of company policies and procedures
- Understanding of safety practices
- Friendly, outgoing personality
- Strong customer service skills
