Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Staff Management:
- Supervise, train, and evaluate warehouse staff.
- Schedule shifts and manage work assignments to ensure optimal productivity and coverage.
- Foster a positive work environment and resolve staff conflicts.
- Inventory Control:
- Oversee inventory management, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods.
- Conduct regular stock checks and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Implement and maintain inventory tracking systems and procedures.
- Operational Efficiency:
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all warehouse operations.
- Monitor and improve warehouse processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment and facilities.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and address any hazards or issues promptly.
- Provide safety training and enforce adherence to safety protocols.
- Customer Service:
- Collaborate with other departments to address and resolve order discrepancies or issues.
- Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment and delivery.
- Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements based on feedback.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and warehouse operations.
- Prepare and present regular reports on warehouse performance and key metrics.
- Document and analyze operational issues to identify areas for improvement.
- Perform other tasks that may be assigned by the immediate head.
