Angcore Motor is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Workshop Supervisor to lead and manage the operations of our automotive service workshop in Davao City. The successful candidate must have a solid background in automotive servicing, warranty and insurance processes, and experience in managing a technical team. The role demands strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to implement process improvements to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise workshop operations, ensuring efficient scheduling, job assignment, and quality control.
- Manage a team of mechanics, technicians, and support staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Promote a collaborative and accountable work environment, fostering teamwork and productivity.
- Handle diagnostic and complex technical issues, escalating as necessary, and support team members with technical problem-solving.
- Take initiative in improving service turnaround time, customer experience, and internal workflows.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of warranty claims and insurance documentation.
- Coordinate with warehouse and parts department to ensure availability and proper inventory of tools and spare parts.
- Monitor key workshop KPIs, report performance metrics, and recommend improvement strategies to management.
- Resolve operational challenges proactively, ensuring minimal disruption to workshop activities.
- Enforce compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar supervisory role in the automotive industry.
- Proven track record in people management, team leadership, and conflict resolution.
- Strong knowledge of automotive servicing, diagnostics, and maintenance procedures.
- Experience in handling warranty and insurance claims, as well as warehouse or inventory exposure.
- Must be a resident of Davao City or willing to relocate and can start immediately.
Education and Certifications:
- Graduate of Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or any related technical course.
- Holder of NC II or higher in Automotive Servicing (TESDA-certified).
- Additional certifications in electrical systems, diesel engines, or workshop safety are a plus.
- Training in leadership, team management, or workshop operations is an advantage.
