Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic, organized, and results-driven Academic Coordinator to oversee and enhance the academic operations of our institution. The successful candidate will work closely with faculty, department heads, and administrators to ensure academic programs meet institutional goals, comply with standards, and deliver high-quality education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily academic operations across all departments or programs
- Monitor curriculum implementation, teaching standards, and student performance
- Assist in faculty scheduling, class assignments, and room management
- Support teachers and staff in planning, professional development, and resource management
- Collaborate with leadership on academic planning, policy development, and school improvement initiatives
- Analyze academic data and provide reports to support decision-making
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and accreditation requirements
- Lead or support student advising, enrollment processes, and academic events
- Mediate and resolve academic concerns from students, parents, and faculty
- Promote a culture of academic excellence and continuous improvement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
- At least 1–2 years of experience in academic coordination or educational leadership
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and school management systems
- Familiarity with education standards and curriculum development
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in [Basic Education/SHS/College/TESDA—customize as applicable]
- Knowledge of government compliance (e.g., DepEd, CHED, TESDA)
- Background in teacher mentoring or academic program evaluation
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Some flexibility required for academic events)
