- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Managing both the money the company owes to others (accounts payable) and the money owed to the company (accounts receivable).
- Invoice Management: Checking invoices for accuracy, processing them for payment, and ensuring they match the company's records.
- Account Reconciliation: Regularly reconciling bank statements, ledgers, and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
- Financial Reporting: Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets, and providing insights into the company's financial performance.
- Client Interaction: Handling general account inquiries, contacting clients regarding payments, and maintaining positive client relationships.
- Audit Support: Assisting with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
- Compliance: Ensuring all financial activities comply with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- General Ledger Management: Maintaining and updating the general ledger, which is a comprehensive record of all financial transactions.
- Other Duties: May include petty cash management, expense monitoring, and other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirement:
- A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is a bonus
- Working experience as an Accounting Officer, Accounting Coordinator, or a similar role
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM, and accounting software (ex. Quickbooks)
- Strong knowledge of accounting and financial processes and principles
- Excellent verbal and written communication
