As an Accountant at Alberto Shoes Corporation, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health and integrity of our organization. Based in our Quezon City, Metro Manila office, this full-time position will see you responsible for a range of accounting and reporting duties that are essential to the smooth running of our business.
What you'll be doing
- Maintain lapsing schedules, balance sheet schedules and handle month end and year end close processes.
- Assist in report summaries and general bookkeeping.
- Assist in external auditors requirements and maintain proper filing systems for accounting records.
- Determining regulatory requirements, addressing compliance risks, and tax compliance.
- Assisting the organizations in computing accurate taxation amounts.
- Act as a tax compliance officer for BIR transactions/concerns.
- Other task that may assigned.
What we're looking for
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar accounting role, preferably within the retail or manufacturing industry
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, reporting standards, and best practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software, spreadsheets, and other financial management tools
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues
- A proactive and solution-oriented mindset
