Responsibilities:
- Supports month-end and year-end close processes and ensures timely execution of responsibilities
- Prepares asset, liability and capital entries by compiling and analyzing account information
- Prepares monthly financial statements, detailed account analyses and accounting reports
- Supports internal and external audit processes
- Ensures the accuracy of financials through detailed analysis
- Executes balance sheet reconciliations for assigned accounts
- Responsible for the execution of one or more tasks related to accounting processes (fixed assets, taxes, collections, internal controls, etc)
- Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing account information and trends
- Coordinates accounting matters with other departments, locations and divisions
- Actively participates on or leads project teams to improve accounting processes and procedures. Recommends enhancements and documents the improvements as necessary
- Maintains satisfactory attendance incuding timeliness
- Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory considerations. If accountable for the work of others, resposible for ensuring their understanding and compliance
- Communicates with manager and/or director on work status and other issues that arise
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Business Administration, Economics or Finance;
- 4 years of Accounting experience reflecting increasing level of responsibility
- Ability to demonstrate intermediate skills and knowledge of MS Excel
- Experience with SAP Accounting Software
- Ability to demonstrate advanced skills and knowledge of MS Excel
- Experience effectively communicating information and responding to questions from managers and other internal and external business partners
- Experience solving practical problems and dealing with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Must be willing to work in a night shift schedule/US Hours and during PH holidays.
- Must be amenable to work at Alabang, Muntinlupa when work in the office resumes.
