Job Summary:
Responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient administration of tax laws through financial audits, taxpayer compliance evaluations, and analysis of financial records. The Accountant contributes to the integrity of tax collections and supports the enforcement of national internal revenue policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Examine and audit financial statements and tax returns submitted by individuals, corporations, and other entities to ensure compliance with tax laws.
- Analyze financial records and accounting systems of taxpayers for accuracy, legality, and compliance with the National Internal Revenue Code.
- Prepare audit reports, working papers, and tax assessment documents.
- Assist in tax investigations, fraud detection, and enforcement activities.
- Maintain and update taxpayer records and provide technical support in tax-related matters.
- Participate in revenue forecasting, budget analysis, and financial planning efforts.
- Conduct taxpayer education programs and respond to queries regarding tax laws and procedures.
- Coordinate with other BIR divisions and government agencies for data validation and enforcement actions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or a related field.
- Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
- Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws and accounting standards.
- Experience in auditing or tax administration is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.

Pay: Php45,000.00 - Php70,000.00 per month
Supplemental Pay:
- 13th month salary
