Purpose of the Position: Reporting to the General Accounting Manager, the accounting assistant is responsible for a variety of accounting duties.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Filing of documents
- Monitor correspondence with project sites. Receive documents and distribute them to appropriate departments.
- Maintain schedule for bank deposits and other reports delegated.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.
- Secures financial information by completing regular database backups.
- Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
- Guides site accounting by coordinating activities and answering questions.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities that are required from time to time.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related
- No work experience is required
- Ability to work unsupervised and deliver high-quality work to tight deadlines
- Working knowledge in Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Must have a good command of the English language, oral and written
- Must have the ability to multi-task
- A reliable professional who follows the organization and department procedures; and completes tasks promptly
- Ability to interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient
- Must be amenable to work at San Ildefonso Bulacan.
