We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Associate to support the day-to-day financial operations of the company. This role is ideal for newly licensed CPAs or fresh graduates with strong academic backgrounds who are eager to start a career in accounting. The position involves assisting with financial reporting, reconciliations, compliance, and general accounting tasks while gaining valuable exposure to real-world accounting practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in processing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions.
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and supporting documentation.
- Participate in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports.
- Support tax filings and ensure transactions comply with local regulations.
- Perform bank reconciliations and other balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist with audits by preparing schedules and supporting documentation.
- Ensure proper filing and organization of accounting records.
- Contribute to the improvement of accounting processes and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- CPA license or newly passed CPA board exam preferred but not required.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
- High attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.
