Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA-eligible fresh graduate to join our finance team as an Entry-Level Accountant. The successful candidate will assist in managing day-to-day accounting tasks, financial reporting, audits, and compliance activities while gaining exposure to a wide range of accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Record and reconcile financial transactions in accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Assist in preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Support internal and external audit processes
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and tax regulations
- Prepare journal entries and maintain supporting documentation
- Help monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Provide support for tax filings and financial reports
- Participate in ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA certification or CPA-eligible
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and grow in a professional environment
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
- Internship or practical training experience in accounting or finance
- Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards
- Knowledge of tax laws and corporate reporting requirements
