Job Title: Accounting Officer

Reports To: Accounting Manager / Finance Head
Job Summary:
The Accounting Officer is responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards and government regulations. This role supervises accounting processes, prepares financial reports, and supports management in decision-making through accurate financial data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and tax returns.
- Ensure accurate and timely posting of transactions in the accounting system.
- Monitor cash flow, prepare bank reconciliations, and manage fund disbursements.
- Coordinate with external auditors, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Supervise and provide guidance to accounting staff.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, systems, and controls.
- Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Investigate and resolve financial discrepancies and recommend improvements to processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA license is an advantage but not required.
- At least 2–3 years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication abilities.
Work Conditions:
- Office-based role with standard working hours.
- May require overtime during peak reporting or audit periods.

Pay: Php20,000.00 - Php25,000.00 per month
