GrowthAssistant seeks a highly organized, communicative, and analytical Accounting Operations Specialist for a 3-month engagement. This position plays a key part in managing accounts, supporting financial transactions, and maintaining strong client relationships. This role also includes some accounts receivable collections and may involve rotational duties, collaborating with the AR Manager and Accounting Operations Team to ensure seamless support across functions.
Must-haves:
- 3+ years of experience supporting finance/accounting functions.
- 1+ years of experience with Zendesk or similar software.
- 1+ years of experience with SaaSOptics or similar.
- 1+ years of experience with Salesforce (SFDC) for data investigation or similar software
- 1+ years of experience with QuickBooks and QBO.
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills and willingness/confidence to embrace outbound calling.
- Intermediate Excel / GSheets skills (for data entry)
- Demonstrated ability to follow role-related process docs with little to no error.
- Ability to work in any US time zone.
Core Tasks:
- Thoroughly review and understand each client's account history, including payment patterns, outstanding balances, and previous communications.
- Utilize data to prepare for client interactions and tailor discussions based on their specific situations.
- Maintain accurate records of all accounts, ensuring that detailed notes on collection efforts are logged consistently.
- Use a structured approach to document interactions with clients to track progress effectively
- Proactive outreach to clients re: pending bill due date (as needed)
- Reactive outreach to clients with delinquent bills (as needed)
- Support the administration of dozens of finance-related tasks such as:
- Ticket Management in Zendesk
- Point of Contact for Billing Queries
- Payment Processing / Verification
- Reconciliation of Payments
- Payment Plan Adjustments
- Contract Management
- Invoice Management
- Transaction Updates
- Billing Contacts Maintenance
- Cancellation Process Execution
- Document Sending
- Account Deactivation/Reactivation
