Key Responsibilities
- Maintain General Ledger: Perform complex accounting activities to ensure a complete and accurate general ledger.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review the organization's consolidated financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
- Tax Preparation: Prepare monthly and quarterly withholding tax certificates issued to suppliers and ensure timely electronic filing and payments.
- Data Management: Update, organize, and maintain accounting records, financial reports, and general ledger accounts.
- Issue Resolution: Research and resolve accounting issues as they arise, communicating effectively with finance staff and management regarding accounting status.
- Analysis and Reporting: Provide management with financial information through research and analysis to support decision-making processes
- Review financial statements for accuracy and legal compliance
- Prepare and file tax returns
- Enter accounting related information into business logs
- Inspect account books for efficiency and accuracy
- Organize and update financial records
- Recommend ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue
- Perform monthly bank settlements
- Prepare documentation for external auditors
- Required Skills and Qualifications
- Educational Background: A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is typically required.
