Accounting Staff | Cost Accounting - Trade & Fixed Assets

I. Job Summary

The Cost Accounting Staff is responsible for supporting the management of trade and fixed assets, ensuring the accurate recording, analysis, and reporting of costs. The role involves coordination with various departments to maintain updated financial records and contribute to continuous improvements in accounting processes.

II. Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain accurate records for trade and fixed assets.
• Communicate and coordinate with logistics, procurement, sales, and other departments regarding asset transactions and cost-related issues.
• Record and regularly update the fixed and trade asset lapsing schedules to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare account analyses and reconciliations for fixed and trade assets.
• Assist in identifying and implementing improvements in trade and fixed asset management processes.
• Support general cost accounting activities, including accurate recording and analysis of cost data.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned to support the goals of the accounting department.

III. Qualification Guides

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or a related accounting field.

Experience:

• At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred but not required.
• Fresh graduates with strong internship experience may be considered.

IV. Competencies

• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and a team player
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Windows applications
• Knowledge in SAP is an advantage

V. Special Courses/Training (Preferred)

• Training in Cost Accounting
• Training in Fixed Asset Management
• Training in Financial Analysis

VI. Physical Effort / Working Conditions

• Primarily office-based work
• Occasional fieldwork for inventory counting and asset reconciliation

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php15,000.00 - Php20,000.00 per month
