Masagana Gas Corporation is seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in regulatory compliance, accounting oversight, staff training, audits, financial goal tracking, and policy development for confidentiality and security. Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily accounting transactions, including reconciliation, to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare revenue forecasts, budget reports, and monthly/annual accounting reports to support strategic decision-making processes.
- Appoint and train new accounting staff, ensuring they understand company policies, procedures, and systems.
- Facilitate the annual audit process for auditors, providing necessary documentation and support to ensure a smooth and efficient audit.
- Monitor progress toward financial objectives, identifying potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop policies ensuring confidentiality and financial security, maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Master's degree considered.
- CPA and CMA certifications preferred.
- Proven experience in Accounting roles, including supervision.
- Strong knowledge of accounting procedures and software.
- Excellent leadership, time management, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to handle sensitive information and manage multiple tasks effectively.
