We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Supervisor to join our team. The Finance Officer will play a crucial role in overseeing budgeting, financial analysis, and forecasting processes to support the financial health and strategic decision-making of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the annual operating budget in coordination with ManOps Leads and GI management.
- Monitor budget performance, analyze variances, and provide recommendations for corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with budgetary guidelines and financial regulations.
- Conduct comprehensive financial analyses to support strategic decision-making and operational improvements.
- Prepare financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Identify trends, opportunities, and risks to optimize financial performance.
- Develop financial forecasts and projections based on historical data, market trends, and business insights.
- Collaborate with the management to forecast revenue, expenses, and cash flow accurately.
- Evaluate forecasting models and methodologies to enhance accuracy and reliability.
- Assist in developing long-term financial plans and strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic initiatives, investments, and resource allocation decisions.
- Monitor industry trends and economic factors impacting financial performance and recommend adjustments to plans and strategies accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis, preferably in the environmental or utilities sector.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and financial software (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights effectively.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience in supervising and developing finance teams.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive mindset and the ability to drive change and process improvements.
