Primary Objectives
● Develop and oversee agronomic guidelines to optimize farm yields and improve productivity.
● Implement risk management strategies for both farm operations and financial institutions to minimize agricultural losses.
● Monitor and ensure compliance with Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and government regulations.
● Oversee interventions to address pest and disease outbreaks, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
● Coordinate with the Farmer Relations Officers to deliver high-quality agronomic advisory services and farm support.
Secondary Objectives
● Collaborate with stakeholders to assess agricultural risks and implement appropriate solutions.
● Support farmers with advisory services based on data-driven insights and best agronomic practices.
● Provide reports on yield improvements, risk management effectiveness, and compliance rates.
● Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and ensure organizational compliance.
● Drive continuous improvement through research and adaptation of best agricultural practices.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Agronomic Strategy and Implementation
● Develop and implement agronomic strategies to enhance farm productivity and sustainability.
● Establish guidelines for soil health management, crop nutrition, pest control, and irrigation practices
● Conduct trials and research to validate best practices and introduce innovative farming techniques.
● Provide expert recommendations on seed selection, fertilizer application, and pest management.
2. Internal and External Risk Management and Compliance
● Identify and assess risks related to crop production, climate variability, and pest out breaks.
● Develop risk mitigation strategies in collaboration with other stakeholders
● Ensure compliance with agricultural regulations, including input use, environmental safety, and food security standards.
● Monitor farms for adherence to Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and implement corrective measures where necessary.
● Foster a collaborative environment to enhance knowledge-sharing and professional growth among the team.
● Evaluate team performance and provide necessary training or skill development programs.
3. Farmer Engagement and Advisory Services
● Work closely with Farmer Relations Officers to provide tailored agronomic advisory services.
● Conduct farmer training sessions on modern agricultural practices and technology adoption.
● Offer on-site farm assessments and recommendations to improve yields and resource efficiency.
● Assist farmers in implementing sustainable farming techniques to enhance long-term profitability.
4. Monitoring, Reporting, and Research
● Track and analyze farm productivity data to identify areas for improvement.
● Provide detailed reports on yield improvements, risk management outcomes, and regulatory compliance.
● Conduct market research to stay updated on emerging agricultural technologies and industry trends.
● Document best practices and success stories to continuously improve advisory services and operational efficiency.
Job Specification:
● Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Rural Development, or a related field is preferred but not required.
● Licensed Agriculturist or planning to get licensed within the year is required
● Fresh graduates and newly licensed are encouraged to apply.
● Strong knowledge of agricultural products and their application in farm settings.
● Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to build relationships and provide knowledge transfer
.● Experience in organizing community meetings, workshops, or field visits.
● Proficiency in data collection, reporting, and basic computer skills.
● Knowledgeable in MS Offices / Google Products.
● Can work with minimal supervision.
● Can drive and with a Driver's License and own motor (if possible)

Pay: Php16,000.00 - Php20,000.00 per month
