Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee routine inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, component replacements on various aircraft systems (airframe, engines, avionics, hydraulics, electrical, etc.).
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical or electrical problems in aircraft systems
- Ensure all work complies with FAA regulations and company standards. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs.
- Oversee scheduled maintenance activities such as engine overhauls, system checks, and fluid replacements to ensure operational safety.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Aircraft Maintenance Technology
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, preferably with hands-on experience on Piper Lance aircraft or any piston engine aircraft.
- Certifications: CAAP issued A&P license required. Additional certifications are a plus.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of aircraft systems, including engines, avionics, electrical, hydraulics, and airframes.
- Proficient in using aircraft maintenance manuals o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency maintenance situations.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.
