Job Description
THIS ROLE
Support the Luxembourg-based AML/CFT services team for both “RC” activities (Reponsable du contrôle du respect des obligations AML/CFT’) and the Know Your Asset (‘KYA’) teams in carrying out their daily responsibilities concerning AML/KYA compliance for both external and internal parties.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
AML/CFT services officer will:
- Review and analyze the necessary KYC/KYA documents received to onboard new clients and conduct asset analysis for the Asset DD service;
- Generate and manage reports on AML/KYC data for both funds’ investments and clients, including creating checklists to track document statuses for each investment;
- Assist the Luxembourg team in creating various AML/CFT and KYA reports such as the RC annual report, agreements, quarterly RC report, AED/CSSF forms, and more.
- Support implementation and maintenance of document collection procedures, including monitoring shared folders for updates;
- Conduct checks using screening tools like WorldCheck for name screening against financial sanctions lists, PEPs, and regulatory enforcement entities;
- Perform Adverse Media controls;
- Escalate significant AML/CFT deficiencies and issues to Senior management of the RC/KYA team;
- Provide support to the RC and KYA teams for any ad-hoc requests from various stakeholders;

Qualifications

Requirements
- Master/Bachelor in Finance or an equivalent degree
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience in a similar position or an AIFM in Luxembourg, a professional experience in AML/KYC would be considered an added value
- Good knowledge of the Luxembourg regulatory environment for investment funds
- Exposure of working with third party delegates and service providers
- Fluent in English; additional language would be considered as an asset
- Self-motivated team player and strong customer relationships with clients
Qualification
- Master/Bachelor required or an equivalent degree;
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience in a similar position;
- Basic knowledge of the Alternative Investment (Private Equity, Real Estate, Private Debt etc);
- Good command of Microsoft Office packages including Excel (no VBA needed), Word and PowerPoint
