Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Architect to lead and support the design, development, and execution of F&B spaces, including restaurants, cafes, food courts, and specialty dining concepts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architectural design, with a deep understanding of food service requirements, customer flow, kitchen layout, branding, and building regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the architectural design of Fredley Group of Companies projects from concept to completion, ensuring functionality, brand alignment, and customer experience.
Develop space planning, layouts, and schematic designs for dining areas, kitchens, service counters, and storage areas.
Collaborate closely with culinary, operations, branding, and construction teams to integrate operational and aesthetic requirements.
Produce and review architectural drawings, renderings, and technical documentation.
Ensure compliance with local codes, health and safety standards, and food service regulations.
Conduct site inspections and coordinate with contractors and consultants during construction phases.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful project execution.
Stay updated on trends in F&B design, materials, and sustainability practices.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
Licensed Architect (preferred or required depending on region).
Minimum of 2 years of experience in architectural design, with a focus on F&B or hospitality projects.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design software.
Strong knowledge of kitchen and back-of-house planning, food safety codes, and mechanical coordination.
Excellent project management, communication, and presentation skills.
Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and user experience.
Preferred Attributes:Experience working with F&B chains, hotels, or commercial foodservice design firms.
Understanding of brand-driven design and customer behavior in dining spaces.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
