POSITION SUMMARY:
Plan, Lead, Organize and control the activities of the field sales force in order to attain the overall objective of his assigned area. The Area Sales Manager is tasked to implement designed systems to control and monitor performance of business and people through performance review to include sales, distribution, merchandising, collection and returns. Conduct regular audit and back check to ensure the proper management of all accountabilities.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Planning
1. Develop and maintain the business for the assigned area covering sales, distribution and collection consistent with company’s objectives.
a. Achieve sales volume objective (100% vs assigned target).
b. Achieve desired distribution level (Based on census and as agreed with management).
- DSO level (Objective is 14 days).
d. Quality of AR (Ratio of 98 for current and overdue accounts respectively).
2. Develop a pool of potential sales personnel to fill up vacancies (1 is 1 ratio of Promotional Sales Representative (PSR) to Assistant Area Sales Representative (AASR)
Directing
1. Conduct training for his PSRs to Enhance their selling skills.
2. Conduct work with session with his salesmen to develop closer rapport with sales force and be kept updated with trade and competitive situations (With salesman – 1 whole cycle)
3. Conduct trade visits to develop stronger relation with key customers (Done monthly)
4. Conduct regular coordination meeting with branch personnel (Done based on schedule)
1. Organize available resources to facilitate achievement of plan.
a. Updated outlet coverage
b. Updated manpower structure
c. Duly accomplished work plan
Controlling
1. Implement designed systems to control and monitor performance of business and people through:
a. Performance review to include sales, collection, returns, and merchandising (Monthly)
b. Cycle meetings (Quarterly)
c. Audit (Done based on schedule)
d. Back check (Done based on schedule)
2. Monitor operating expenses or within ratio (Opex kept within budget or prescribed expense/ sales).
Submit the following management reports: -------Submission Schedule:
a. Weekly Field Report (Every Monday, for previous week’s activity)
b. Work with Evaluation Report (After each training contact)
c. Back check Report (After each back check)
d. Weekly Sales Report (Every Monday)
e. Work Plan (Last week of the previous month)
f. Competitive Activities (Every time new comp. is noticed)
g. Area’s issues and concerns (As needed)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php40,000.00 - Php500,000.00 per month
