Key Responsibilities:
- Operations & Quality Control
- Monitor daily operations of the meat section in all assigned branches.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and quality standards.
- Conduct regular visits and audits to ensure proper display, storage, and handling of meat products.
- People Management
- Supervise and coach meat section staff (butchers, clerks, etc.) in each branch.
- Assist in scheduling, training, and evaluating staff performance.
- Resolve conflicts and enforce discipline when necessary.
- Inventory Management
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, spoilage, and wastage.
- Coordinate with warehouse and purchasing teams to ensure timely replenishment.
- Conduct regular stock-taking and variance reconciliation.
- Sales & Merchandising
- Assist in implementing merchandising plans and promotions.
- Monitor sales performance and suggest strategies for improvement.
- Ensure the correct pricing and labeling of meat products.
- Logistics & Mobility
- Must be willing and able to drive/ commute to various store locations.
- Ensure all tools, equipment, and supplies are efficiently distributed and maintained.
