We are looking for a Candidate with domain level experience in Home lending who would be responsible for training and coaching the credit assessment process whilst ensuring strict adherence to process, policy and procedures of the business.
Responsibilities
-
Providing support and coaching end to end assessment of the lending process through to decision for staff
-
Understand key requirements of credit to ensure lending applications are completed in line with bank policies and be able to communicate effectively
-
Work with Credit team to ensure objectives are met in timely manner
-
Adherence to compliance regulations and manage any potential risks for the business
-
Working alongside other SME’s to establish a robust support and training network for staff
-
Actively drive improvement in quality, efficiency and customer centric outcomes in the credit teams
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
-
Expert level knowledge of home lending credit assessment
-
Facilitate updates in relation to policy, process and risk to the business
-
Coaching and training staff to complete credit verification checks (income, General Living expenses, NCCP requirements, security and others) to ensure application input is meeting the Bank policies and responsible lending requirements
-
Getting results that help our customers achieve their financial lifestyle goals
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
-
Experience working in home lending credit assessment
-
Highly proficient and domain level knowledge in credit assessment for mortgages
-
Ideally has held a Delegated Credit Lending Authority in mortgages
-
Tertiary education within business/financial services
-
Prior-experience in Retail Banking/Mortgage or Finance industry

Highly Proficient in working on MS Office suite.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
-
Excellent Interpersonal skills
-
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skill
-
Good conceptual knowledge and exposure to Banking Mortgage Operations

Proficient in working in an agile environment and demonstrate high attention to detail
-
Capable of working independently on managing their respective portfolios and delivering it within their stipulated timelines

Capable of assisting the management by providing process improvement ideas to reduce waste and improve efficiency of the process
