PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITY
Collaborates with the Senior Assistant Vice President – Finance/Chief Finance Officer in managing the Financial Planning Section.

Key contributors for planning, organizing, managing, and controlling their respective departments or units; helps establish objectives and strategies to ensure Corporate and Departmental business plans and Quality objectives are met; and

Organizes value-adding activities; allocates adequate resources that contribute to achieving targeted goals; implements control to manage risks and ensure compliance. Manages direct reports and utilizes metrics to assess their actual performance; institutes specific developmental interventions to bridge performance gaps; and/or implement disciplinary measures based on consequences.

Accountable for the preparation and monitoring of company wide budget, midyear budget and monthly projects in coordination with Management and other departments.

Supervises both Processes and People:

Budget Preparation, Allocation, Review and Revision at Midyear and through regular monthly Projections

I.JOB DESCRIPTION
A.Duties and Responsibilities done at PERIODIC or REGULAR Intervals
  • Assists management through preparation of reports for various projects and initiatives, particularly in the planning phase and the profitability.
  • Reviews and ensures accurate tagging in the System and confirms if the corporate expenses are budgeted or not.
  • Analyzes, reviews and monitors movements on revenue and actual expenses, provides inputs for variances.
  • Analyzes and reviews reports on Actual Expense vs. Budget. Sends out monthly reports to Department Heads to secure comments or justification for any variances.
  • Coordinates and facilitates meetings with external auditors during annual audit
  • Analyzes and reviews raised concern by other departments for exception handling and recommended approval to the Finance Head.
  • Reviews, analyzes and confers with the different Division and Department Heads on their submitted proposed budget.
  • Plans, reviews, monitor and evaluate performance of the Team towards the achievement of goals, KRAs and KPIs.
B.Duties and Responsibilities done at IRREGULAR or INTERMITTENT Intervals
  • Participates during meetings on any issues or concerns for internal and external Clients relating to budget preparation, automation or cost reduction programs
  • Provides documents or information needed to support requirements of different departments, i.e. for bidding and accreditation, expense accounts analysis for budgeting and other studies for new and renewing services.
  • Collaborates on automation projects and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Collates data, analyzes and prepares accurate and timely Ad Hoc Report as needed

A. SKILLS
1. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT
MINIMUM educational level and background required by this POSITION:
College Graduate of 4, 5 year-course, must be: BS Accountancy, CPA licensed is required

2. EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
PERIOD OF TIME OR LENGTH of related experience the CANDIDATE must acquire before being assigned to and perform the functions of this job, SATISFACTORILY under NORMAL supervision: Minimum of 5 years

3.SKILLS REQUIREMENT
TECHNICAL (For Tech and Business Support, Supervisory and Professional)
Skilled or specialized: proficiency is gained thru wide experience in a SPECIALIZED or TECHNICAL area (SAP proficiency, Excel and MACRO expertise)
