Core Responsibilities:
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and manual troubleshooting techniques.
- Repair or replace worn or damaged parts on vehicles including engines, transmissions, suspension systems, and exhaust systems.
- Conduct inspections and test drives to ensure repairs have been properly completed.
- Maintain accurate service records, including parts used, labor performed, and repair notes.
- Ensure tools and equipment are properly used and maintained.
- Comply with all safety procedures, including proper disposal of hazardous materials and waste.
- Communicate clearly with service advisors or customers about required repairs and estimated timelines.
- Stay up to date with the latest automotive technology and manufacturer repair guidelines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical training in automotive repair preferred.
- NC II Certification from TESDA or equivalent is a plus.
- 2–5 years of experience as an auto mechanic or automotive technician.
- Strong knowledge of gasoline and diesel engine systems, vehicle electronics, and diagnostic procedures.
- Ability to operate diagnostic tools, hand tools, and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Valid driver’s license (and clean driving record, if applicable).
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to stand, lift, and move heavy parts for extended periods.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php650.00 - Php700.00 per day
