Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated AutoCAD Specialist with 2–3 years of experience to contribute to our diverse portfolio of construction, infrastructure, and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing precise technical drawings, supporting project visualization, and ensuring accurate dimensioning in compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed 2D technical drawings, layouts, and schematics for construction, infrastructure, and industrial projects using AutoCAD.
- Develop high-quality renderings and visual presentations to support client proposals and project approvals.
- Verify and adjust dimensions to ensure drawings comply with project specifications, safety regulations, and industry codes.
- Manage layers, blocks, external references (Xrefs), and annotation tools to optimize drafting workflows.
- Collaborate effectively with project engineers, architects, and external partners using file-sharing and collaboration platforms such as Dropbox, Google Drive, or Trello.
- Incorporate feedback and revisions into drawings while maintaining proper version control.
- Assist the drafting team in meeting project deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of practical experience using AutoCAD in construction, infrastructure, or industrial project environments.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD core functions: drawing, editing, annotation, and rendering.
- Strong understanding of dimensioning, layering, blocks, and external references.
- Proven ability to produce clear, precise, and standards-compliant technical drawings.
- Basic knowledge of visualization and rendering tools within AutoCAD or related software.
- Familiarity with collaboration and file-sharing platforms commonly used in outsourcing projects.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with 3D modeling software such as Revit, SketchUp, or 3ds Max.
- Knowledge of local building codes, safety standards, and industry best practices.
- Previous experience working on large-scale infrastructure or industrial facilities.
