We’re looking for an Automation Engineer to join our Delivery Team. You’ll build and maintain test automation frameworks, with a focus on Infrastructure as Code in an Agile environment. This remote role offers a unique chance to work on secure, cutting-edge cloud technologies that protect Australia’s most sensitive data.
You will be responsible for:
- Develop and Maintain Test Automation Framework
- Write, design, and execute automated tests by creating scripts
- Create and document detailed test plans, performance briefs, Implementation Guides and other technical documents that detail the configurations, test methodology results and Best Practices.
- Participate in the relevant Scrum Ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily standup/scrum, sprint review/showcase.
- Assist cross functional teams in troubleshooting and problem identification.
To be successful you will be able to demonstrate with:
- At least 2 years hands-on strong experience with container management and orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, Rancher/K3s, etc.
- Hands-on testing experience and implementation of cloud and container solutions, cloud platforms and infrastructure as code frameworks.
- Expertise in testing life cycle, API Testing and overall process improvement related to IT quality assurance.
- Experience working within agile delivery processes especially Kanban and Scrum.
- Detail oriented and have a desire to produce top quality results.
- Be prepared to work independently within a cross functional team.
- Possess the ability to work and communicate with the senior leadership team
- Able to adapt and communicate a testing approach in the context of the solution whether it be time constraints, budget constraints or a proof of concept solution.
