Job Summary:
As a Barista in a beachfront coffee shop, you are the face of the café—serving freshly brewed coffee and refreshments to guests enjoying a tropical, relaxing environment. You’ll be responsible for crafting beverages, delivering excellent service, and ensuring a clean and welcoming atmosphere for both tourists and locals.
Job Description:
- Welcome customers with a warm, friendly, and beach-relaxed attitude.
- Prepare and serve hot and cold drinks such as espresso, latte, cappuccino, cold brew, iced teas, and smoothies.
- Operate coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other beverage equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barista station and seating area, especially in a sandy and humid beachfront environment.
- Suggest and upsell beverages or pastries, including seasonal specials and locally sourced products.
- Handle cash and digital payments using the café's POS system accurately.
- Monitor stock levels and assist in restocking ingredients and supplies.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
- Assist with setting up and packing down the café (especially if it's an open-air or mobile setup).
- Help maintain a chill, clean, and inviting vibe in line with the café’s beachfront brand and aesthetic.
Qualifications:
- At least College level education
- Previous barista or café experience is an advantage, but training may be provided.
- Knowledge of coffee brewing methods and drink preparation preferred.
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a tropical outdoor environment (heat, wind, occasional sand exposure).
- Responsible, punctual, and able to work under minimal supervision.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays, depending on beach traffic and tourist seasons.

Pay: Php500.00 - Php600.00 per day
