- Review contracts and accurately input sales orders and billing updates into billing, ordering, and production systems, ensuring alignment with contract terms.
- Provide billing operations support, including order validation, product setup, adjustments, reconciliations, and resolving customer concerns.
- Analyze customer agreements and addendums to interpret key terms, conditions, and rates for accurate billing.
- Conduct complex analyses and reconciliations across client portfolios, handle rebilling, and issue credits when needed.
- Stay current with product lines and operational processes to ensure billing practices reflect accurate data usage.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships internally and externally to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Offer technical guidance on resolving advanced billing and order-related discrepancies.
- Communicate with clients to explain invoices, policies, and assist with billing/order-related inquiries.
- Support the Manager in creating and maintaining policies and procedures to ensure billing accuracy and process efficiency.
- Identify and analyze revenue cycle issues, recommend solutions, and collaborate with management on process improvements.
- Assist with mid-month and month-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate billing.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years' experience in revenue cycle or billing.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Understanding of internal controls in high-volume billing environments.
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication.
- Courteous and patient when interacting with customers.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Self-motivated and able to work under pressure in deadline-driven settings.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Experience using Salesforce.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Access.
- Preferred educational background in Business, Accounting, or Finance.
