Angcore Motor is hiring a highly reliable and skilled BRP (Body, Repair & Paint) Supervisor to manage our vehicle repair and refinishing section in Davao City. The ideal candidate has solid experience in body repairs, automotive painting, cost estimation, insurance and warranty processing, and team leadership. We're looking for someone with strong integrity, a high sense of responsibility, and no history of integrity issues—someone who will uphold company values while ensuring operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the Body, Repair & Paint (BRP) team in day-to-day operations.
- Oversee collision damage assessments, prepare accurate repair estimates and costing based on labor, materials, and parts.
- Ensure quality workmanship and efficient workflow across body repair, denting, painting, and refinishing activities.
- Handle and validate insurance claims and warranty processes, ensuring proper documentation and accountability.
- Supervise and coach technicians, painters, and support staff for high performance and work discipline.
- Coordinate with warehouse, inventory, and service advisors for parts availability and work order scheduling.
- Take initiative to improve job turnaround time, cost efficiency, and quality output.
- Monitor job order costs vs. targets, and flag any variances or potential losses.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment following company and environmental standards.
- Prepare performance reports, costing sheets, and productivity metrics for review by management.
- Foster a culture of honesty, discipline, and professionalism among the team.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 to 5 years of hands-on and supervisory experience in automotive body repair and painting.
- Strong knowledge of repair costing, labor estimates, paint application, and refinishing materials.
- Experience with warranty and insurance documentation and assessment procedures.
- Demonstrated responsibility, trustworthiness, and ethical behavior in previous roles.
- No record of integrity issues or disciplinary cases.
- Must be a resident of Davao City or willing to relocate and available to start immediately.
Education and Certifications:
- Graduate of Automotive Technology, Auto Body Repair, or similar technical course.
- Holder of NC II or higher (TESDA) in Automotive Body Repair, Painting, or Servicing.
- Additional certifications in spray painting, welding, refinishing, or workshop safety are a plus.
- Basic training in costing or workshop management is an advantage.
