The Business Development and Relationship Manager plays a dual role in both business acquisition (hunting) and account management (farming). This position is responsible for expanding the merchant network by identifying and securing partnerships aligned with our product and commercial strategy. The role also ensures long-term success by managing existing merchant relationships, driving satisfaction, retention, and growth. is role covers both Hunting and Farming activities. They are responsible for growing merchants to the network by continuously looking for potential merchant partners that is relevant to our product domains, and commercial conditions. This role involves managing Merchant account portfolio by building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with merchants to ensure partnership satisfaction and retention, while also identifying and developing new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- - Merchant Acquisition: Proactively identify, approach, and onboard high-potential merchant partners aligned with our market and product fit.
- - Relationship Management: Cultivate and sustain long-term, trust-based relationships with merchants to drive loyalty and mutual success.
- - Needs Assessment: Understand the unique requirements, challenges, and business goals of merchants to deliver tailored, value-driven solutions.
- - Account Growth: Identify and pursue opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within the merchant base to maximize commercial value.
- - Issue Resolution: Serve as the point of contact for merchant concerns, resolving issues efficiently to ensure a seamless experience.
- - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Marketing, IT, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure consistent service delivery and merchant satisfaction.
- - Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key metrics such as sales performance, merchant satisfaction, and retention to inform strategy and improve outcomes.

🌟Who you are?
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
· Minimum of 5 years of B2B sales, business development, or account management experience.
· Experience in retail, fintech, or payments industries preferred.
· Proficient in using CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce).
· Strong command of Microsoft Office 365 tools.
· Proven ability to navigate complex business environments and solve problems independently.
