Job Description
We are seeking a Business Development - Marketing Operations to join Lazada's Commercial team, specifically within the Business Development (BD) function. The BD team is a dynamic group of business strategists, data analysts, and marketing experts responsible for driving mass seller acquisition, onboarding, and incubation initiatives. This role will be under the Mass Onboarding and Incubation Team and will be responsible for driving the successful onboarding of new sellers onto the Lazada platform. This role involves managing and optimizing the entire seller acquisition journey, specifically on seller registration and onboarding.

- Seller Marketing & Campaign Optimization: Lead the planning, execution, and ongoing optimization of seller-focused marketing campaigns across META and Google platforms. Work closely with regional teams to conduct A/B testing, identify top-performing creatives, and continuously improve cost-efficiency and campaign effectiveness
- Content Strategy & Planning: Collaborate across functions, including brand, CRM, and creative teams to develop and implement a cohesive content plan across all seller touchpoints. Ensure all messaging is aligned with the platform's brand strategy and supports key seller objectives
- Agency Management: Oversee external creative agencies to ensure timely production of high-quality marketing assets. Align agency output with brand and campaign goals, and ensure accountability to timelines and direction provided
- Seller Acquisition & Onboarding Projects: Take the lead in managing strategic projects aimed at improving the seller journey from registration to activation. Coordinate with cross-functional and regional teams to streamline processes, enhance user experience, and ensure timely delivery of key project milestones
- External Partnerships & Collaboration: Initiate and manage partnerships with external stakeholders, negotiating win-win agreements and fostering long-term relationships that contribute to both seller and platform growth
- Business Development & Operational Excellence: Monitor and conduct daily health checks of tools, campaigns, and seller-facing systems. Track weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance, troubleshoot operational issues promptly, and leverage data insights to create strategies that will accelerate progress toward business goals

- Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated creativity in developing marketing strategies, campaign ideas, and content that engage and convert target audiences
- Bachelor's degree in any business-related courses, communications, engineering, or any other related field
Good to have:
- Experience in digital marketing, brand marketing, or a role in a creative agency
- Knowledge of performance marketing tools (META & Google)
- Ability in SQL or willingness to learn
