The Business Development Officer (BDO) is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with corporate clients, and driving revenue growth for Rapid Tech’s IT hardware and co-managed IT support services. The BDO actively pursues leads, develops proposals, and coordinates with internal teams to deliver customized solutions to clients, especially in the BPO, shared services, and SME sectors.
Responsibilities:
· Prospect and generate leads through various channels (calls, emails, networking, LinkedIn)
· Pitch IT hardware (refurbished and brand new) and co-managed IT support solutions to businesses
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers (IT Managers, Procurement Heads, etc.)
· Prepare and present sales proposals, quotations, and product demos
· Conduct client meetings, site visits, and needs analysis
· Coordinate with Pre-Sales, Procurement, and Technical Teams for customized offers
· Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to team goals
· Keep CRM updated with accurate sales activities and client data
· Monitor market trends and competitor activities to improve strategies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, IT, or related field (required)
- 2–4 years in B2B sales, preferably in IT hardware, software, or managed services
- Experience selling to corporate clients such as BPOs, SMEs, or tech-driven companies is a plus
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong understanding of IT hardware, solutions selling, or service-based offerings
- Goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and under pressure
- Familiar with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce)
- Confident in presenting to senior stakeholders
