What you'll be doing
- Oversee the daily operations of the cafe, including staffing, inventory management, and financial reporting
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales, improve efficiency, and enhance the customer experience
- Manage and motivate a team of baristas, servers, and kitchen staff to deliver exceptional service
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and food hygiene regulations
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with the broader management team to develop and implement new menu items, marketing campaigns, and business initiatives
What we're looking for
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a management role within the hospitality or food service industry
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Thorough understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
