The Cashier is responsible for handling financial transactions related to visa processing and service fees while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. This role requires strong attention to detail, customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process visa application payments, service fees, and other transactions using the designated system.
- Issue receipts and maintain accurate financial records for audits and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and security protocols to prevent fraud or errors.
- Assist customers with payment inquiries, refunds, and transaction-related concerns.
- Maintain an organized and secure cash handling process, balancing the register at the end of shifts.
- Collaborate with the finance and customer service teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Handle foreign currency transactions and ensure proper exchange rate application when required.
- Support daily reconciliation of cash and digital payments, reporting discrepancies promptly.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Previous cashier or financial transaction experience is a plus.
- Strong numerical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Familiarity with POS systems, financial software, and basic accounting principles.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle transactions accurately.
