The Cashier is responsible for processing cash, debit, credit, e- wallet, and online/ delivery transactions using a cash register or other point- of- sale (POS) system in the restaurant. His/ her duties also include balancing the cash register, making change, recording purchases, processing returns, scanning items for sale, and processing ordinary discounts.
Job Description
- Overseeing all the activities in the cashiering area.
- Provide a positive customer experience with fair, friendly, and courteous service.
- Manage transactions with customers using cash registers.
- Collect payments from customers.
- Accept and process orders from various online/ delivery channels.
- Resolve customer issues and answer questions.
- Maintain cash control over register drawer and verify amounts are correct.
- Calculate customer bills through cash register.
- Help with other tasks as needed including managing shelves, tracking inventory, and keeping the store clean.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least College level or graduate of vocational course
- Proven work experience as Cashier
- Excellent customer service and positive attitude
- Good math skills
- Flexibility to work in shifts
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable with handling cash and giving change
- Experience operating a cash register
- Always maintain a professional appearance
- Ability to remain productive in a high pressure environment
- Willing to be assigned in Makati Area.
- Can start immediately
