Channel Planning Specialist (Fixed Term)
The incumbent acts as the in-house expert supporting the day-to-day operations of the Sales Force Automation solution (SFA) and maintain the upkeep of classification and definition of Trade Channels, Trade Segmentation, Outlet types
As the Channel Planning Specialist in the area of Sales - Trade and Commercial Planning, you will:
Sales System (SFA Solutions) Support and Maintenance
- Administer and optimize SFA system setup, configuration, maintenance, and administration.
- Monitor access levels for active SFA and back-office users based on function and role.
- Coordinate with IT and third-party providers to address system issues/errors reported by DSO and DP users.
- Participate in business testing for application changes, system upgrades, and bug fixes.
- Provide updates on pending issues/errors and ensure resolution.
- Assist in TME training for new entrants and support the development of user training manuals for field force and back-office
Trade Classification and Segmentation Upkeep
- Develop, deploy, and maintain classifications for trade channels and outlet types within the Sales System.
- Ensure the relevance and accuracy of channel definitions through regular updates.
- Establish processes to uphold the integrity of trade segmentation and customer creation while guiding field force users
Customer Master Data (CMD) Management
- Implement CMD processes and enforce adherence to policies with appropriate monitoring controls.
- Collaborate across functions to define accountability and ensure completeness/accuracy of master data.
- Continuously seek and implement process improvement opportunities
Territory Master Data Management:
- Maintain and manage coverage plans and territory hierarchies to align with the territory approach.
- Develop processes for Territory Boundary setup and maintenance, coordinating with SIBI and RTM teams.
- Regularly update Territory Boundaries and customer tagging in collaboration with field M&S leaders
People Management:
- Recruit, motivate, and support the professional growth of direct and indirect team members.
