- Prepare chemical solutions, reagents, and standards for laboratory tests
- Conduct routine and complex chemical analyses using standard lab equipment (e.g., spectrophotometers, chromatographs)
- Assist chemists and engineers in research, product development, and quality control
- Maintain, calibrate, and clean laboratory instruments and equipment
- Record and interpret test results accurately; prepare technical reports
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols when handling hazardous materials
- Monitor product quality and ensure adherence to industry standards
- Support environmental testing, water analysis, or industrial process monitoring depending on the sector
