Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present authentic Chinese dishes with consistency and creativity.
- Independently source and purchase ingredients, ensuring quality and cost-efficiency.
- Develop and implement personal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for kitchen operations.
- Determine costing and pricing per dish, factoring in ingredient costs, preparation time, and market trends.
- Collaborate with management to create menus that are both appealing and profitable.
- Lead and train kitchen staff, ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards.
- Provide culinary support at events or other branches within Cebu province as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Chinese Cuisine Chef with a strong culinary and operational background.
- Solid understanding of food costing and pricing strategies.
- Experience in vendor management and ingredient procurement.
- Ability to document and enforce kitchen SOPs.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Willingness to be based in Mandaue and travel occasionally within Cebu.
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php20,000.00 - Php25,000.00 per month
