The Client Relationship Officer – Commercial Lending supports the commercial banking team in managing relationships with business clients, facilitating loan processes, and ensuring an excellent client experience. This role involves working closely with Relationship Managers to assist with credit applications, monitor loan performance, and maintain client satisfaction through proactive communication and service delivery.
Responsibility
✔ Manage and nurture relationships with commercial clients to understand their financing needs and business goals.
✔ Assist in the preparation and submission of commercial loan applications, financial analysis, and credit packages.
✔ Support the Relationship Manager in structuring deals, gathering required documentation, and coordinating internal approvals.
✔ Monitor existing credit facilities, including covenant compliance, renewals, and repayment schedules.
✔ Coordinate with credit risk, legal, and operations teams to facilitate loan disbursements and modifications.
✔ Conduct periodic reviews of client portfolios to identify opportunities for cross-selling banking products and services.
✔ Maintain up-to-date client records and ensure all interactions and documentation comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
✔ Provide proactive support to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and long-term retention.
Job qualifications
✔ 2–5 years of experience in commercial or corporate banking, preferably in a relationship
management or credit support role.
✔ Solid understanding of commercial lending products, financial statements, and credit risk principles.
✔ Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-focused mindset.
✔ Experience supporting middle-market or SME clients.
✔ Excellent communication skills and teamwork spirit
✔ Bachelor degree or above.
