About the role
The Collection Team Leader is responsible for managing a team of collection agents to ensure efficient recovery of outstanding loans while maintaining a professional and customer-centric approach. This role involves overseeing collection strategies, monitoring team performance, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and company policies.
What you'll be doing
Team Management & Supervision:
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of collection agents to achieve individual and team targets.
- Monitor call quality and productivity, providing feedback and coaching for improvement.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and industry best practices.
Collection Strategy & Execution:
- Implement effective collection strategies to maximize recoveries and minimize non-performing loans (NPLs).
- Analyze delinquency trends and recommend proactive measures.
- Coordinate with other departments to optimize collection efforts.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
- Track team and individual performance against KPIs (e.g., recovery rate, call resolution, productivity).
- Prepare and present reports on collection efficiency, borrower behavior, and risk assessment.
- Utilize data analytics to enhance collection processes and decision-making.
Customer Interaction & Resolution:
- Ensure proper handling of delinquent borrowers through professional communication and negotiation.
- Address escalated customer concerns and disputes with tact and efficiency.
- Promote customer education on loan repayment and financial responsibility.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, company policies, and ethical collection practices.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks in collection processes.
- Keep updated on legal frameworks related to debt collection and lending.
Process Improvement & Innovation:
- Identify gaps in the collection process and suggest improvements.
- Implement new tools, technologies, and automation to enhance efficiency.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in debt recovery.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in collections, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership role.
- Experience in digital lending, fintech, or banking is preferred.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in using collection software and CRM tools.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet recovery targets.
- Knowledge of debt collection regulations and compliance standards.

Pay: Php30,000.00 - Php35,000.00 per month
