Commissary Head
Role Summary:
Oversees the overall operations of the commissary, including food production, logistics, inventory, and
compliance with safety and quality standards. This role ensures the timely and efficient delivery of
products while maintaining high standards in operations and workforce management.
Key Responsibilities:
● Lead and manage all commissary operations, including production, storage, packaging, dispatch,
and logistics.
● Set production schedules and quality standards in coordination with other departments.
● Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement for raw materials.
● Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
● Oversee personnel performance, schedules, and shift allocations.
● Analyze operational efficiency and implement improvements when necessary.
● Coordinate with sales or retail departments to align production volume with demand.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Business Management, or related field.
● 5+ years of experience in commissary or food production operations.
● Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
● Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety regulations.
● Proficient in inventory and operations software.
