CORPORATE SENIOR / JUNIOR LAWYER:
- Conduct in-depth legal research and draft a wide range of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, notices, contracts, and discovery-related documents;
- Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, agreements, and legal instruments to ensure legal compliance and alignment with the objectives of the entities within the system;
- Represent the organization, its affiliate entities within the system, as well as their officers and employees, in court proceedings, administrative hearings, mediations, arbitrations, investigations, negotiations, and other legal processes, as may be necessary.
- Strategize and prepare for trial, mediation, and arbitration, including case assessment, coordination of evidence, and witness preparation.
- Provide sound and strategic legal advice to management, officers, and departments across the entities under the system on matters involving rights, obligations, legal risks, and compliance.
- Handle all legal matters, internal communications, and interactions with officers, employees, and stakeholders with the highest degree of confidentiality, especially when representing or advising officers, management, stakeholders, and personnel.
- Monitor legal developments, including new laws, rules, and regulations that may affect any of the entities under the system, and ensure timely compliance.
- Coordinate and liaise with external counsel as needed.
- Maintain and organize legal files, documents, and case records efficiently.
- Perform other legal or administrative tasks that may be assigned from time to time to support the legal needs of the organization and its affiliated entities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with a law degree from an accredited law school (such as an LLM, JSD, or J.D. degree
- Member of local bar associations in good standing
- Senior Lawyer - minimum 10 years practicing lawyer with extensive experience in litigation;
- Junior Lawyer - minimum 5years practicing lawyer with extensive experience in litigation.
- Must have MCLE and IBP
- Must be able to handle heavy caseload with little supervision
- Persuasive writing skills and verbal communication skills are critical, along with time management and interpersonal skill
- Must be willing to work onsite at AMA Head Office, Panay Ave. Quezon City
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php80,000.00 - Php120,000.00 per month
