JOB SUMMARY
- Cost Control is responsible for bill of materials and manufacturing cost accuracy. Check and review the actual and standard cost on a monthly basis. Prepare detailed financial report analysis of assigned income and expense account with comparative report from previous financial data. Check Goods Receipt Purchase Order (GRPO) and landed cost prior to Accounts Payable voucher (APV) processing. Set, define and track results of individual KPIs. Contributes positive result to the Key Performance Indicator of the Department.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Graduate of BS Accountancy
- At least two years in an associate/ officer level position, specializing in general or cost accounting
- CPA license is an advantage but not required
- Knowledge and proficiency in Accounting Systems

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Check and verify the accuracy of the BOM for posting in the system
- Periodic review of Bill of Materials (BOM) and price list.
- Review the monthly subsidiary ledger report of assigned GL accounts prepared by the Accounting Staff. This may include Cost of Good Manufactured and Inventory reports
- Timely and accurate preparation of monthly Subsidiary Ledger Report of assigned GL Accounts with comparative financial analysis.
- Checking of GRPO, Incentives, Landed Cost and Journal Entries prepared by the Accounting Staff.
- Recoding of monthly sales and sales return in the system. Provides comparative sales analysis in quantity and amount.
- Prepares lapsing schedule (depreciation) of Fixed Assets and amortization of prepayments. Conduct yearly Fixed Asset inventory count
- Prepares and monitor monthly inventory count schedule for RM, FS, MCD and FG inventory. Assist in the monthly inventory counting to ensure the accuracy of the count.
- Ensure on-time month end closing of the general ledger.
- Ensure all reports/documents are kept intact and complete
- Provides team leadership to staff level members of the team; observes performance and provides feedback or advice on how to improve
- Work on special tasks related to position, as directed by immediate superior
