Job Summary/Purpose:
To ensure that all Travelling Cranes are operational and conforms to safety and quality standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Adheres to company policies and procedures including Safety and Housekeeping.
2. Monitor performance of travelling cranes.
3. Perform regular condition monitoring. Identify problems, recommend and take necessary corrective action.
4. Inform the immediate superior regarding abnormalities in the performance or operation of travelling cranes as well as the action taken.
5. Coordinates the activities of crane maintenance with other departments.
6. Maintain and repair travelling cranes in accordance with superior’s instruction, engineering standards or manufacturer’s specification.
7. See to it that maintenance activities / schedule are properly performed on time and recorded.
8. Make sure that spare parts are always available. Informs the immediate superior about parts and consumables that needs to be purchased
9. Ensure that tools and equipment are complete, cleaned, and returned to proper place after use.
10. See to it that the assigned and working area are cleaned and orderly.
11. Provide support to other members of the department.
12. Perform other duties that may assign by immediate superior.
Qualifications:
- Vocational Graduate of any 2 years (with Tesda certificate) in Mechanical Technology, Mechatronics, etc. or BS Mechanical engineering graduate
- Preferably with related work experience as Mechanical Technician
- Knowledgeable in industrial plant safety, maintenance and troubleshooting
- With background on cranes is an advantage
