Höegh Autoliners is a global leader in Ro/Ro deep sea transportation services. The company owns and operates approx. 50 Pure Car and Truck Carriers (PCTCs) in global trade systems, making around 3 000 port calls yearly. Main Responsibilities
- Assist in the prompt & accurate encoding & uploading of seafarer data, activities, and document uploading to OCS per Crew Data Processing.
- Assist in verifying the completeness of data and documents in OCS.
- Assist in recruitment functions based on crew operations requirements in coordination with the Crew Auxiliary Team Lead
- Assist in creating new and updating existing seafarer data in OCS.
- Assist in ensuring the vessel crew list and next of kin list reports are filed and updated in the common folder.
- Encode, upload & monitor missing seafarer documents in OCS relating to Crew Operations processes
- Assist in crew coordination and/or follow-up contact with seafarers for crew change plan engagement by the Crew Manager.
- Assist in the administrative tasks of Crew Operations in Seafarer Reporting Workflow and Seafarer Deployment Workflow
- Assist in validating details of submitted documents, such as FWS requirements or other documents forwarded by Crew Support (e.g., contracts & addenda, reimbursements, cash advances, etc.), for approval by the Crew Manager.
- Participate in Succession planning sessions & assist in encoding seafarer activities in OCS, as confirmed with the Crew Manager, including monitoring, checking & rectification of data & filling up activity gaps relevant to crew operations.
- Endorse seafarers for Pre-employment medical examination (PEME) at an accredited clinic, including follow-up of PEME results.
- Prepare the certification for different purposes required by the crew.
- Assist in maintaining the HFSP FB Page, Website, e-Sea Access Portal, Electronic Bulletin Board, and shared mailboxes
Minimum Qualifications
- Completed any 4-year university/college degree
- Experience or exposure to crewing operations preferred
- Adaptable and quick to learn new systems and procedures
- Strong communications and interpersonal skills
