Location: Sta. Cruz Manila
We’re currently looking for a Declarant will be responsible for preparing and submitting customs declarations in accordance with national regulations. This role requires strong technical knowledge of customs procedures, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete import and export declarations in accordance with national customs regulations and brokerage procedures.
- Review and validate trade documents such as commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
- Liaise with customs authorities, inspection agencies, and clients to resolve clearance issues.
- Maintain accurate and organized records for audit and reporting purposes.Stay updated on customs legislation, trade agreements, and regulatory changes.
- Communicate with customs officers, freight forwarders, and clients to resolve queries or compliance issues.
- Keep up to date with changes in local and international customs laws.
- Maintain organized records of all customs documents for audits and internal tracking.
Qualifications:
- Must be a graduate of BS Customs Administration
- With or without work experience in a Customs Brokerage
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication
- Proficient in using desktop tools
- Willing to work flexible hours and under pressure
