Global Delivery Centre (GDC) the Philippines, was established in 2013 to meet the varied needs of Kantar’s growing businesses in the APAC region. Data Processing Specialist (Programming related role - Scripting & Data Processing)
Role Description:
- Understand the Client domain, the product (Kantar viz. cross-media, Brand, Creative etc.), the project and the job-specs
- Understand end-to-end project life cycle
- Implement programming tasks/projects using standard Kantar software/technology platforms as per agreed parameters
- Apply previous knowledge and understand the project requirements to propose simpler and more effective solutions
- Independently balance multiple variety of projects simultaneously across various complexity levels
- Accountable to resolve feasibility of application of interactive tools in programs / projects
- Responsible for carrying out and delivering to ensure vital levels of accuracy and within agreed-upon timelines
- Serve as the primary contact for his/her/their project, effectively relaying emails, queries, and project-specific details with minimal direction
- Update line manager / Project Manager, at agreed frequency, especially with risk to scope, time or cost and recommend possible solutions
- Meet established performance indicators and proficiencies
- Follow defined processes, checklists, and guidelines set forth in the ISO manual
- Maintain adherence to specified work protocols like Time Sheets, work status, responsiveness to queries, raising blocking issues to line manager / PM
- Support and adhere to team decisions related to implementation and approach.
- Find opportunities to simplify tasks and processes in the team using modern tools and technology
- Interact with Key Stakeholders across departments within the cluster / country team to ensure the best possible outcome
- Learn new processes, relevant technologies, products when they are introduced and adopt them as required. Whenever possible, advocate within the team or other collaborators
- Contribute as a Buddy / Mentor for new joiners in the team
- Successful completion & certification on internal skill level trainings; SUP Advance Level Topics within specified timelines
Role Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of programming principles/concepts
- Proficiency in Quantum/SPSS/Unicom (Dimension)/ Nfield platform is required
- Ability to switch across different platforms and Kantar Products
- Good understanding of concepts like Maxdiff/ Conjoint/ Weighting/ N2D
- Knowledge of MCMC studies and of MRS is good to have
- Proficiency in MS Office is essential
- Exposure to SPSS or other statistical software is essential
- Programming knowledge in Java, .net VB JSP, PHP etc. is an advantage
- Awareness of SQL and relational databases, Python, R, Power BI is a good to have
