A Delivery Driver is responsible for safely transporting packages and other goods from the warehouse to the different delivery areas following a specific route. Your duties include loading the items to the delivery van, to arrive at the right address at the right time. Delivery Drivers have a variety of duties in addition to driving their routes and making deliveries. These includes:
- Following all traffic laws, DOT regulations and observing the best practices for safety when delivering items
- Communicating properly with dispatchers, other drivers and team members especially with immediate Head
- Meeting delivery deadlines and following assigned delivery routes
- Performing basic service maintenance such as refueling, doing visual inspections and reporting potential issues
- Preparing, loading and unloading the delivery vehicle
- Providing exceptional customer service and obtaining client/customer signatures when needed
- Completing any paperworks related to the deliveries and completing reports as required
Qualifications
- With a clean driving record: "Safety is our Priority"
- Valid Driver's License
- Strong sense of direction: Be able to read maps & find your way around a delivery area
- Friendly with great customer service skills
- With a lot of patience
- Preferably residing in Antipolo/Marikina City or nearby areas
